Job Description:

Develop strategic buying plans and ensure smooth buying operations through vendor identification, evaluation, and selection. Develop and source suitable products to meet customer demand. Achieve the strategic and financial objectives of the concept by delivering on all key KPI’s.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sourcing and negotiations in order to maintain a suitable supplier base. Work with Head of
  • Buying to ensure supplier strategy is followed.
  • Align the buying plan to the overall department/category business plan as well as strategy in order to meet the requirements of department/category.
  • Responsible to deliver sales & profit targets for department/category
  • To analyze sale reports, product performance and stock availability
  • Build product strategy
  • Determine buying requirements in order to formulate buying plans for the assigned department/category, considering customer profiles/product trends and historic trading.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Buying process and practices
  • 8 + years of buying experience, out of which at least 5 years in a similar role within the footwear retail.
  • Knowledge of product development
  • Education – Bachelors /Masters with specialized training in MS office.
  • Knowledge and ability to visualize and anticipate the needs of the business.
