- Organize together with the Demi Chef (Chef De Partie) shifting in the section with regard to mise-en-place production and its service
- Responsible for completing the daily checklist of mise-en-place and food storage
- Document inventory of kitchen supplies, and notifying supervisors of low stock situations
- Follow daily ingredient collection, storage of all items used within the respective kitchen and ensure all areas of section are maintained and cleaned following established standards
- Attend daily meetings with the Demi Chef (Chef De Partie) and other meetings as requested by the Executive chef/Executive sous chef
- Work to the specifications received by the respective culinary team regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in the same position in a luxury 5-star hotel or a renowned restaurant.
- Demonstrate passion for quality and cooking.
