Consultant Vascular Surgeon

Job Description:

Mediclinic Welcare Hospital are currently looking for a Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join their team of highly skilled Vascular Surgeons.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates equitably in the on-call roster
• Participates in review and planning activities relevant to the development of the Vascular Surgery Service and the Hospital
• Responsible for providing comprehensive consultant level patient care in Vascular Surgery
• Fulfils professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Vascular Surgery
• Participates in the oversight and professional development of assigned junior medical staff
• Conducts Clinical Audits in line with Medical Advisory Committee requirements
• Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the Vascular Surgery Service and the Hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Dubai and the UAE
• Carries out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education
• Minimum of three years of experience in Vascular Surgery since gaining specialisation
• Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Vascular Surgery
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
