Senior Specialist

Job Description:

Acts as first contact point for customer claims; supports customer in notification and reception of claims, provides claims documents, collects required documents from claimant and hands over to specialized claims handlers when documents are complete

Job Responsibilities:

• Adopts Systems Engineering Framework and other best practices, and manage adherence to this methodology.
• Create a suitable environment for the purpose and needs of the EC3 facility
• Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed
• Logs all records and compiles statistical reports concerning EC3 facility.
• Compiles data into statistical reports and reports EC3 facility performance, and issues advising on specific
• problems ad their causes. Develop recommendations for improvement
• Manages and monitors suppliers in ensuring the fulfilment of their contractual obligations. Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and challenge supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Adheres to established facilities management standards, policies and procedures
• Interview and hire certain facility employees and contractors, such as maintenance staff and janitorial services
• Conducts EC3 facility related training in a formal and educational context to improve EC3 staff and contractor awareness and understanding
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
• Manage the overall services provided within the EC3 facility

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business studies or similar, from a recognized university.
• Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
• 8 years of experience in the field of facilities management # Desirable to have a health and safety qualification for example NEBOCH, IOSH
• Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards.
• Must have previous experience with facilities management.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
• Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
• Must have knowledge of International / European / US standards and best practices
