Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for Associate Director of Sales to join the Sales & Marketing department at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main purpose of the role is to ensure achievement of the financial targets for the hotel and that the Sales team achieve its budgeted goals and individual targets. Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners and set and monitor strategic goals. Fully endorse Jumeirah’s Brand and Image with linking corporate policy and strategy with all the Sales teams across the world and to JBH as a SBU.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains effective communication, with regular 1-2-1 and team meetings.
  • Always maintains a high standard of personal appearance.
  • Liaises with relevant departments to ensure all customer needs and requests are met.
  • Ensures Jumeirah Brand Standards are adhered to.
  • Sets and monitors annual commercial plan goals and sales targets with SMART KPIs.
  • Identifies and builds productive relationships with business partners.
  • Provides leadership in entrepreneurial sales activities for self and the team.
  • Continuously reviews product and branding to ensure we are selling creatively and offering a more innovative edge over our competitors.
  • Ensures departmental policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a solid understanding of luxury travel, UK, China, Australia & Indian markets, knowledge of European markets desirable.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism or Sales
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Written Skills
  • At least 3 years in a Leadership role in the luxury hotel company.
  • In-depth experience understanding of the leisure multi market.
