Devops Engineer

Job Description:

DevOps engineer is responsible for the smooth operation of a company’s IT infrastructure. They work with developers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. To be successful in this role, a DevOps engineer must have a deep understanding of both development and operations processes, as well as a strong technical background.

Job Responsibilities:

• DevOps professionals should have a solid understanding of software development practices, including version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and software testing. They should also be familiar with system administration, infrastructure management, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable. Understanding cloud services, serverless computing, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is valuable for managing scalable and resilient infrastructure.
• Proficiency in automation tools and technologies is crucial in DevOps. This includes experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure, as well as configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate software deployments and system configurations.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Docker Certified Associate (DCA)
• Proficiency in cloud platforms – AWS or Azure
• Puppet Certified Professional
• 5+ years of experience in Devops roles.
• Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack , Splunk is important.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
