Job Description:

The FP&A and Management Reporting Manager will lead and manage the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and business financial analysis for Emirates Transport whilst ensuring compliance with internal financial guidelines establishing internal controls, monitoring compliance, and improving processes for the Finance Division.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of collection guidelines by analyzing several trends with the payments of Emirates Transport clients.
  • Gathers business performance data, analyzes and compares it to the previous periods, to help manage, and develop recommendations for improvements in revenue growth or resource allocations.
  • Maintains the applicable financial systems to keep pace with Emirate Transport’s changes and makes recommendations if a replacement is necessary.
  • Leads the comprehensive financial planning and financial performance review across Emirates Transport by managing the preparation of budgets/forecasts, monitoring performance, and ensuring that proper controls and checks are in place for optimal reporting.
  • Coordinates with various divisions on all finance matters and submits required reports to the sector head.
  • Prepares monthly management reports with commentary on variances.
  • Analyses financial reports to escalate profitability, budget variances, and capital consumption issues.
  • Works closely with the central finance function in providing financial inputs required for monthly and yearly financial book close.
  • Leads the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop detailed budgets.
  • Creates accurate financial forecasts and long-term projections based on historical data and market trends.
  • Monitors and update forecasts as needed to reflect changes in business conditions.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts, ensuring their professional development and efficient performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • 8- 10 + years of experience in a FP&A, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
