Front Office – Bell Captain

Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Front Office Bell Captain to join our team at Rotana. As a Bell Captain, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the bell and door staff to ensure exceptional guest service and a smooth operation of the front office department. Russian and German speaking command is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the front office manager to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained schedules are well-maintained.
  • Monitor the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and public areas, ensuring they are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bell and door staff, ensuring that they are performing their duties efficiently and providing excellent customer service.
  • Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, and assist with their luggage, ensuring safe handling and storage.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, resolving any issues or escalating to the appropriate department if necessary.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Train and mentor bell and door staff on a regular basis, providing guidance and support to improve their performance customer skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of hotel operations and front office procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively a-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
