Responsible for the overall Health, Safety and Environment planning & implementation related programs across the company. 100% implementation of the HSEMS, Policies and Procedures throughout the company. Develop Construction HSE & Environment PlanRunning health and safety meetings and training courses for employees. 100% completion of the annual HSE Audit throughout the company and compliance with safety audit action
- Implement International Safety Rating System (ISRS) in the factories.
- To identify training needs of factories/ Plant Personnel based on the inputs of Risk Assessment &
- Aspect/Impact Evaluation and arrange necessary training inputs
- Management Representative for ISO 14001, ISRS & OHSAS-18001
- To ensure documentation compliance to ISO:14001, ISRS & OHSAS-18001
- Professional Certifications: Possessing relevant certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), can be advantageous and may be preferred by some employers.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Proficiency in incident investigation techniques, root cause analysis, and reporting is essential. You should be able to lead investigations into workplace accidents, near misses, and other incidents to identify underlying causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: A thorough understanding of local, national, and international health and safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with occupational safety and health standards, environmental regulations, and industry-specific requirements is important for developing and implementing effective health and safety programs.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Strong knowledge and experience in conducting risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing appropriate risk control measures is necessary. This includes the ability to evaluate workplace processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Communication and Training: Excellent communication skills are crucial for a Health and Safety Manager. You should be able to effectively communicate safety policies, procedures, and regulations to employees at all levels of the organization. Experience in developing and delivering training programs on health and safety topics is beneficial.
