Job Description:

Horizon Product Manager, you will be Managing and overseeing the Horizon Programme development team, ensuring that implementations, regular release of new product feature and repairs are delivered on time and meet all business requirements. Identify opportunities and developing digital solutions. You will also be managing, developing, reviewing, evaluating, recommending and continuously improving Horizon Programme streams. Provide ideas through innovative thinking, exploring and investigating other airlines, and other app developers to review current market trends and providing solutions or suggestions to Head of Department, to ensure that every application feature delivery is above par with competitors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of ensuring consistency and quality of standards and processes are implemented and adhered across the team, whilst the entire process of software development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external IT, UX/UI designers to ensure timely delivery of product enhancement release and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Organize sessions to establish UX, UI, back-end deliverables, ensuring delivery is in line with standards and expectations.
  • Collaborate with IT on the overall digital product roadmap, priorities, objectives and expected impact of new features in order to be able document and prioritize digital product features and user feedback.
  • Work with Head of Department in defining business strategic direction for Horizon Programme, recommend and discuss innovations and tactics to Head of Department that promotes the business revenue and product portfolio, including e-commerce packages and other value added components
  • Collaborate with other managers from various business departments to ensure cross-project dependencies are managed effectively by identifying risks, issues and technical challenges. Proactively work with other business units within Finance, IT, Catering Services, Cabin Services and relevant business units to resolve impediments.
  • Conduct PPM with reportees, ensuring KPls are met and capable of setting development plans if required. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed b the Head of the Department.

Job Requirements:

  • Results driven, excellent time and project management skills.
  • Proven experience in software development and management, with experience in managing software development teams
  • Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Products) — Expert level
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • 6+ years of job-related experience
  • Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Fluent in English — Reading, writing, listening and speaking.
