IoT Platform Architect

Job Description:

Design and architect high performing and scalable IoT platform components (Edge, Data, Analytics)

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of expertise in IoT technology landscape and stay current on latest technology, build PoC’s, to evolve the design architecture to benefit from the latest technology.
•  Act as a technical expert. Lead the e2e solution architecture of the IoT Cloud, responsible for maintaining the as-is and to-be IoT core architecture and producing solution artifacts to address business and technical requirements (e.g., e2e sol. diagrams, sequence diagrams, swagger, etc.) required to support any change including but not limited to new IoT services, capabilities and enhancement of current platform following agile ways of working.
• Be known for your “client-centric” approach and delivery excellence.
•  Lead vendor technology assessments. Create and maintain the architecture documents.
• Develop overall solution plans and strategic vision for the proposed solutions, providing a comprehensive roadmap aligned to clients’ business needs, including elements such as use case(s) definition, business case, user experience design, business process flows, functional data flow, data catalogs, technical data flows, cloud consumption estimates, delivery approach, resources plan, risks, assumptions, dependencies, etc.
•  Engage with clients’ leadership and technology teams in strategic discussions to provide outstanding technical strategy and industry guidance to improve their long-term business goals.
•  Run feasibility studies and make recommendations for technology and vendor selection related to IoT architecture and management for the emerging common core technology stack.
•  Lead and partner across our global landscape to identify priority accounts and premier bids where our IoT & Edge offerings can deliver tangible value to our clients across various industries.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in solutions related to enterprise use of Digital Operations and IoT technologies in support of IT and OT infrastructure or applications.
•  Hands-on knowledge of IoT & Edge technologies, 5G technologies, containers, API designing and implementing is a must.
• Experience with building mission-critical, enterprise-ready IoT solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
•  Experience on Firmware Upgrades/Patch Management, OTA configurations, testing, and Device Management
• Good knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
