Product Design Lead

Job Description:

As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of new products or the improvement of existing products. You will be leading a highly motivated team of designers and working closely with other departments to ensure that our digital products are designed to meet customer needs and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with all departments to acquire insights and understand user pain points in order to design products that tackle those pain points resulting in efficiency gains for the company
• Act as a mentor by developing other team members, providing guidance and feedback on their work, and supporting their professional growth
• To use the InstaShop services as per the company policies in order to provide feedback on how to improve the service
• Work with other teams such as engineering, product management, and marketing to develop and implement product design strategies that meet our business objectives
• Ensure that the product design meets expected quality and technical standards

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication, leadership skills, and ability to provide clear direction, mentor team members, and create a positive and collaborative work environment
• At least 5+ years of product/project management experience in the technology field
• Deep understanding of product design, UI/UX, owning roadmaps, and product strategy
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus and analytical skills
