Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technology teams to optimise the Squad’s Sprint Backlog, removing any impediments to progress along the sprint.
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy and commercialisation of the solutions
  • Use MVPs and experiments to learn quickly and make data-driven decisions
  • Communicate progress and key updates to stakeholders during monthly and quarterly reviews
  • To enhance product features based on market research from existing solutions, clients and users’ feedback
  • Devise the long-term and short-term strategy for seamless online commercial experiences
  • Understand and forecast customer demands for devising solutions that make the best use of latest technology for business success
  • Lead our squad focusing on managing the design, buying, sourcing, category management and planning (demand planning, demand forecasting, supply planning from DC to Stores around allocations and replenishment) systems and processes (in fashion, footwear, home and DIY, apparels, and accessories)
  • Collaborate with the brands buyers on the buying critical path tracking and management
  • Collaborate with teams to ideate on innovative solutions that address both user and business problems and create powerful customer experiences
  • Collaborate with brand teams to understand core business opportunities and challenges to help influence the prioritisation of Product Backlogs
  • Translate a deep understanding of customers’ needs into solutions and products that add value to the business

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and passion for data analysis and data-informed product innovation
  • End-to-end quantitative thinking
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle Retail Suite
  • Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Product Owner role in areas of commercial management (merchandise planning, assortment planning, design, buying and sourcing, product lifecycle management)
  • Proven expertise in systems on merchandise, assortment, and replenishment planning (Oracle is preferred) along with any digitisation tools on buying processes (e.g., sampling 3D digitization) or PLM (product lifecycle management) systems
  • Has experience of buying/planning
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and environments
