Job Description:

To review credit data management processes, recommending improvements, overseeing credit risk platforms and manage systems development, enhancements or changes, implementing and supporting the implementation of new systems from credit risk perspective in order to optimise resource utilisation, minimise associated costs and improve workflow/productivity

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation
  • Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon
  • Act as back-up for data management function maintaining the required data, reviewing the data extracted and stored to ensure compliance with the Data Management Functions requirements
  • Integrate where required data from ADCB’s subsidiaries into HO DataMart’s to ensure accuracy of database
  • Design, build and maintain master risk database in order to serve as credit risk’s single source of information
  • Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of banking products/services and accounting concepts
  • Ability to manage relationship with different stakeholders
  • Bank IT Systems Knowledge/Application Architecture and Integration
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk reporting with experience in credit risk and systems and experience in report design and automation using SQL, and SAS.
  • Database Management and Administration/Programming Languages
  • Written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Credit MIS Design and Review
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Business Support Systems Knowledge/CAD Systems Knowledge
  • Good programming skills especially in SQL. Understanding of SAS along with SQL is preferred.
