Job Description:

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Sales Coordinator is responsible to maximize sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments proactively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensures responses within stipulated timelines.
  • Establishes strong contacts to source for information in regard to planned and upcoming functions/ events.
  • Responds to changes in the Sales and Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
  • Handles all customer complaints and service recovery promptly.
  • Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

Job Requirements:

  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Coordinator in hotel operations.
  • Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
