Job Description:

Set within the company’s Business Intelligence & Research Department, the role focuses on providing market, client and competitor intelligence to the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains databases for research queries from a wide variety of internal and external sources
  • Provides customized ad hoc research reports, highlighting main findings, and effectively communicating the results to the end user both orally and in writing, and makes presentations of results where needed.
  • Conducts macro and micro economic research to support sound decision making.
  • Support the Business Intelligence & Research team to help build the understanding of potential and existing customers, competitors and markets and economies by sourcing, collating, interpreting and presenting insights from primary and secondary sources
  • Supporting the department with providing clear perceptions for the continuous customer satisfaction research by helping to deliver insights to drive the development of the company’s product and client service propositions.
  • Support the development of business intelligence and research policies and procedures for capturing and communicating information/ research.
  • Work as an effective member of the Business Intelligence & Research Department to develop market analysis and track corporate performance (branding, image, customer feedback, etc.)
  • Conducts, evaluates and interprets market intelligence research and reports (providing assessment and implications on the risks).
  • Conducts, evaluates and interprets competitor intelligence (Locally, Regionally, and Internationally.
  • Clarifies, identifies and evaluates research needs and requests of the business units/departments and determines the data sources and information required
  • Creates and identifies appropriate data sources, and resources for research, data collection methods and tools.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience can be from either client or agency side, must have very strong qualitative as well as quantitative analytical skills
  • Primary and secondary research knowledge .
  • Proven track record of delivering research with statistically sound results and clear recommendations.
  • Fluency in English an Arabic
  • Bachelor’s Degree is essential. Post Graduate Qualification in business, marketing or communications an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, of which at least 3 should be in business to business, marketing or market research environments
