Sr. Sales Assistant

Job Description:

QatarEnergy’s activities and those of its subsidiaries and joint ventures, encompass the entire spectrum of the oil and gas value chain locally, regionally, and internationally. They include the exploration, refining and production, marketing, and sale of oil and gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), natural gas liquids (NGL), gas to liquids (GTL) products, refined products, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel and aluminum.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent has overall responsibility for operational activities within Marketing & Product Planning (Petrochemicals) in accordance with the policies and procedures of QatarEnergy to support the Marketing & Sales, Shipping Operations, Business Support Services functions. They will carry out specialized reporting, delivery creation, data maintenance, master data creation, warehouse operations and administration, supplier expense administration, warehouse and Insurance claims, systems interface administration.

Job Requirements:

• 3-4 years’ experience in sales, shipping operations and business support in a professional environment. Preferably in petrochemical industry
• Knowledge in shipping, land transport, terminals and warehousing operations and associated documentation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of internal processes, standards, policies, and procedures
• Proficiency in business process in SAP
