Job Description:

The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and talent management within an organization. This includes but is not limited to: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of HR professionals to meet departmental goals and objectives
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to HR team members
  • Manage the performance of HR team members and provide regular feedback to promote growth and development
  • Ensure HR team members have the necessary resources and support to perform their job responsibilities effectively
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Oversee the recruiting and hiring processes to ensure the organization has a talented and diverse workforce
  • Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to support employee growth and development
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing coaching and guidance as needed
  • Foster a positive team culture, promoting collaboration and teamwork among HR team members
  • Plan and manage the HR budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that support the company’s objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading and managing an HR team
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a senior-level HR role
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive HR initiatives forward.
